Tear strips

A tear strip serves as an opening aid for shipping and retail packaging and is supplied as a cross-wound spool.

Paper tear strip

The tear strip is made of high-strength kraft liner. In suitably designed paper packaging, this eliminates the need for a plastic tear strip. The packaging and tear strip can be sent to the paper recycling stream together, provided the disposal system's specific acceptance and sorting criteria are met.

Uses of a tear strip

They can be used in paper mailing bags or perforated tear zones on corrugated cardboard boxes.
